While waiting to understand if the X-Men of the MCU will be introduced in Deadpool & Wolverine through the much talked about post-credit scene of the film with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, we would like to point out that in recent hours new rumors have emerged about the long-awaited reboot of the film saga .
According to famous insider Daniel Richtman, in fact, Marvel for X-Men is looking for a screenwriter who is able to handle ‘both comedy and drama’, since “they don’t want their X-Men to be purely comedic”. Through his sources the scooper also heard that the film will introduce some characters we’ve never seen before in live-actionwhich will obviously complement the “original members we all know and love”. Finally, the insider returns to reiterate an old scoop of his, according to which the X-Men film will focus more on the female members of the team.
Previous 20th Century Fox films have introduced quite a few comic book characters over the years, but the X-Men universe is so vast that many noteworthy characters, both good and bad, have still not made their live-action debut after more than twenty years since the beginning of the saga.
