Spider-Man, new photos of Tom Holland on set reveal the original MCU costume
Descriptive text here

Before the decision to make it in CGI, originally Tom Holland wore a real Spider-Man costume on the set of his first MCU film, that is Captain America: Civil Warand that costume has recently made headlines again thanks to new scene photos never seen before.

The images available at the bottom of the article have attracted the attention of fans on social media, dividing the opinions of enthusiasts: which Spider-Man costume is better, the ‘practical’ one worn live or the one retouched with CGI seen in the Marvel film (born after the cancellation of Spider-Man 4 and The Amazing Spider-Man 3) directed by the Russo brothers? The design is largely similar, although it has some key differences.

To begin with, what you can see in the photos is a practical costume that Tom Holland actually wore on set, which however disappeared in the final cut since the decision was made in post-production to put the hero in a VFX costume (and since then the actor has always worn a mo-cap suit for his Marvel films). As you will notice, the lines of the cobwebs on the costume are much darker and thicker in the real costume, more in line with what we are used to seeing on the pages of comicsand even the logo on the chest is completely different compared to the second version made in post-production.

We remind you that Spider-Man 4 is currently in production, with filming that according to rumors could start next September: in the film there will be a new costume, the same one shown in the final lines of Spider-Man: No Way Home.. .made in CGI.

On HOUSE OF THE DRAGON SEASON 1 STEELBOOK (4K UHD) It is one of today’s best sellers.
