Except for the legendary Batman by Tim Burton, i DC characters had very little luck on the big screen in the 80s, a decade that saw the birth of questionable films such as the third and fourth acts of the saga Superman inaugurated by Richard Donner in 1978. But how could Batman, Superman and the other members of the Justice League what if the comic book genre had exploded in the 1980s?

The YouTube channel Stryder HD took care of giving us an answer, which ventured a fun fantasy casting with the help ofartificial intelligence bringing together all the most popular stars of those years, with many of them continuing to dictate the law at the box office even today.

The video opens with Harrison Ford in the role of Batman, which is then followed by the other two cornerstones of the DC Trinity, which for the occasion see John Travolta like Superman and My Sara as Wonder Woman. These are followed Dennis Quaid in the role of the cassico Arthur Curry aka Aquaman and a very young man Tom Cruise imagined as Barry Allen aka Flash.

The bevy of superstars continues with Kevin Costner like Green Arrow, Arnold Vosloo like Black Adam and a picturesque David Hasselhoff as Shazam. Then follows two famous Green Lanterns who see Mel Gibson like Hal Jordan and Wesley Snipes like John Stewart. After admiring Morgan Freeman like Martian Manhunter and Ernie Hudson like Cyborg, there’s room for two of the deadliest supervillains in the DC Universe. Let’s see, in fact Keith David like Darkseid and Willem Dafoe as Joker, a casting choice that has captivated fans for years.

The extensive overview then continues with Diane Lane like Supergirl, other villains like Peter Weller as Lex Luthor, Yul Brynner as Brainiac e Tim Curry in Steppenwolf’s. Then we find a young man Keanu Reeves like Nightwing, Rob Lowe like Tim Drake and a charismatic Kurt Russell like Hawkman. Finally there is room for two famous faces from Star Wars like Peter Cushing as Alfred Pennyworth and Carrie Fisher in those of Lois Lane. They close the race Christopher Lee as General Zod, one Geena Davis perfect for the role of Mera and a creepy one Arnold Schwarzenegger in that of Doomsday.
