Challengers confirms itself at the top of the Italian box office and collects another 371 thousand euros for a good total of 1.1 million. They also remain on the podium Confidence with 205 thousand euros and 619 thousand in total and Back To Blackwhich collects another 171 thousand euros and rises to 1.5 million.
Ghostbusters – Glacial Menace is fourth with 167 thousand euros and 2.2 million, Civil War gets 141 thousand euros and rises to 1.2 million, still very strong Kung Fu Panda 4 with 132 thousand euros and 11.1 million in total. Well A World Apart which collects another 117 thousand euros for 6.5 million, they close Mischief at Homewith 112 thousand euros and 706 thousand in total and the animated ones Lucawith 52 thousand euros and 153 thousand in total and Spy X Family – Code: Whitewith 47 thousand euros and 178 thousand in total.
US BOX OFFICE
$6.2 million debut for Challengers in America, also considering the takings from the previews, with the film appearing to hit analysts’ forecasts and taking in 15 million dollars over the weekend. Second place for Unsung Herowhich obtained 3.6 million, also in this case adding the takings from the evening and night previews and those from some previous events.
Civil War the tick for third place with a Friday of 1.9 million which brings its total to 51, while Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire it stops at 1.7 million for a rich total of 176.2 million. Predictable drop for new entries last week, Abigailwhich grosses 1.5 million and rises to 15 million and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which gets 1.1 million and rises to 12.6. The superclassic Alienreturns to the top ten 45 years after its official debut with grosses of around 606 thousand.
There is therefore, as widely expected, a decidedly weak weekend in terms of takings, the classic “calm before the storm” of May, with the start of the American Summer.
