After the global success of Godzilla Minus One and while waiting to find out about the next films of the MonsterVerse by Legendary and Warner Bros, we would like to point out that a new official film in the Legendary saga has been announced in these hours Godzilla.
It’s about a short film titled Godzilla: Attack on Tokyoand will be projected in public on April 27th in Tokyo on a 100 meter high screen in front of the Metropolitan Government Building: the project aims to show the inhabitants of the city what would happen if Godzilla actually showed up among the buildings of the metropolis, a decidedly not recommendable visit.
This movie is alone the latest in the long series of shorts in the Godzilla sagasince the famous kaiju today can boast almost 40 to his name: from Monster Planet of Godzilla to Godzilla vs Garasharp, the Toho franchise has made numerous short films over the years, including special projects for theme parks or others created for campaigns promotional. This latest version appears to be geared towards tourism so if you happen to be near Tokyo, pay attention to Godzilla’s paws.
