New rumors related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe have emerged online, with several scoopers sharing updates on various upcoming projects. Let’s start with Sydney Sweeneywho after playing Spider-Woman in the disappointing Madame Webshe might actually join the MCU, hypothetically for the role of Black Cat in Spider-Man 4. The scooper reported the indiscretion @MyTimeToShineHwhich claims that the star of Everyone except you And Immaculate is currently having negotiations with the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige.

Again @MyTimeToShineH also reiterates the rumors already circulated in the past according to which the Thanos Of Josh Brolin is set to return to the MCU in the near future. This is a questionable decision, given how the Mad Titan’s story ended, but with a Multiverse of Variants, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus also shared some cryptic scoop on X, suggesting that the Hank Pym of Michael Douglas will join the Illuminati and that Doctor Strange will lead a new version of the group. The news regarding Pym seems questionable, however, considering that Douglas no longer seems to want to play the character.

Perez then also denied the rumors that Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Daredevil in Deadpool & Wolverinesuggesting that there will be a reason why Elektra’s Jennifer Garner will show up without him by her side. Regarding i Fantastic FourPerez instead revealed that: “There’s a reason why the Fantastic Four’s debut will take place in an alternate universe where the ’60s look like the Jetsons. They must establish how great the threat of this Saga can be, which can even cross over into different universes. So yes, they are important“.

That Fantastic Four will take place on another Earth now seems like a given, and this gives Marvel Studios the freedom to tell a 1960s-based story that doesn’t contradict the established history of Earth-616.
