Deadpool & Wolverine, the cameo of one of the MCU’s most beloved characters spoiled?

After the nine-minute presentation of Deadpool & Wolverine at CinemaCon 2024, important updates and even possible spoilers have emerged in recent hours about a big surprise cameo that according to rumors should occur during the course of the film.

Second the famous scooper Can We Get Toastin fact, in the film directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman a true MCU veteran will also appear, one of the most beloved characters ever in Kevin Feige’s saga: Happy Hogan by Jon FavreauTony Stark/Iron Man’s faithful right-hand man.

We have no further details on the role the star and director will play in Deadpool & Wolverine, but considered the return of Jennifer Garner as Elektra perhaps it is worth mentioning that, before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jon Favreau also played Foggy Nelson in the Daredevil film with Ben Affleck. In the MCU, however, Favreau played (and still plays today) the role of Happy Hogan in various projects, from Iron Man to the Spider-Man trilogy through the Avengers films and the animated TV series What If…?.

Also note that in the CinemaCon footage, Marvel Studios revealed that Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will also appear in Deadpool & Wolverine, but thanks to an old scene from Thor: Dark World: will Happy Hogan’s cameo be constructed in this way or will it be made specifically for the film? We’ll find out next July 24th.
