The first part of the film Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle has conquered Japanese fans of Haruichi Furudate’s work, recording record revenues, and concrete information has finally arrived on the period in which Western fans will also be able to follow the exciting challenge between Karasuno and Nekoma high schools.
After the excellent reception it received at home, where it became the fourth highest-grossing film ever on its first day of screening at the cinema, with almost 900 billion yen, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, or the Battle of the Dump, produced by Production IG is about to come to us too. The famous streaming platform Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment they have in fact communicated the international release dates of the film, which as of March 29 has grossed over 8.5 billion yen, and Italy is part of the first distribution block.

Italian fans of Furudate’s exciting spokon, one of the most popular manga in the history of the medium, will therefore be able to go to cinemas to see Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle starting May 30, 2024! However, the film will be available in Japanese with English subtitles or dubbed into Italian. There is therefore not much left to finally be able to witness the first part of the decisive challenge between Karasuno and Nekoma high schools, and see Hinata in action alongside an old enemy of hers: Tobio Kageyama.
