In the past few hours the director James Gunn revealed that he is almost ready to reveal David Corenswet’s Superman costume, but apparently the actress Rachel Brosnahan he almost risked beating him to the punch.
As you can see in the post available at the bottom of the article, in fact, the award-winning star of the TV series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, chosen by James Gunn to play iconic Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane in Superman and throughout the DCU, he published on his official page of the social network Instagram the photo of the dog of David Corenswet, interpreter of Clark Kent/Superman, who sat calmly in his personal chair during filming. However, as sweet as the photo of the animal is (who, for the avoidance of doubt, will not play Krypto the Superdog in Superman), fans’ attention immediately turned to what would appear to be Superman’s cape hanging on a wall in the background.
James Gunn himself weighed in on the matterapparently legitimizing the fans’ suspicions by commenting with emoticons: in the last few hours the director has been the protagonist of a bitter back-and-forth with the famous insider My time to shine hello, who accused him of grossly lying about the identity of the mysterious villain of Superman, but in this case Gunn seems to have candidly admitted Rachel Brosnahan’s oversight… as long as it really was an oversight.
