There plot this film found on Netflix is about two couples. There are Dutch Van Den Broeck, sergeant in the Internal Affairs department of the Washington police, and his wife Peyton. And Kay Chandler, a New Hampshire congresswoman campaigning for re-election, and her husband Cullen. Their life seems to flow peacefully with their many mutual professional commitments. One day we hear the news of a plane crash.
Peyton and Cullen, who died in the crash, were traveling on that aircraft. But the drama doesn’t end there for the surviving spouses. It will be discovered that the two sat together and were registered as husband and wife.
Thus we discover the whole truth about a story of adultery, and of events to reconstruct what had happened and their past. It will be the beginning of a difficult story for the two widowers, tormented by the presence of the media and by subtle psychological implications.
