“No regrets, I had fun on set”
Descriptive text here

As we have explained to you in the past, Dune: Part 2 has cut two famous actors from its huge cast, totally eliminating the scenes shot and completed for the film due to reasons of editing and story fluidity.

The first is Tim Blake Nelson, who played Count Hasimir Fenring on set, while the second was Stephen McKinley Henderson, former interpreter of Thufir Hawat in Dune: Part 1 of 2021: those who know the original novel by Frank Herbert know that the latter, in particular, would have played a very important role in the war against the Harkonnens, and during a new promotional interview the actor commented the situation telling itself peaceful and without any regrets.

I shot some stuff for them and I had a great time on set with Denis and Austin Butler“Henderson confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.”I also got to have a great lunch with Christopher Walken. It was a great experience to be a part of this film, and I understand what happened: Denis had to do the good of the film and had to make decisions. I have no regrets, I loved taking part in this adventure.”

In the original story, Hawat survives the Harkonnens’ deadly attack on House Atreides (seen in the first film, while after the cuts made by Denis Villeneuve to the second episode it is taken for granted that he simply died in the previous chapter) and is forced to become a servant of House Harkonnen, but throughout the story he will continue to remain secretly faithful to the Atreides by trying to sabotage their enemies from within. Is Stephen McKinley Henderson, Tim Blake Nelson Get ‘Special Thanks’ in the credits of Dune: Part 2.
