Descriptive text here

Thanks to the official presentation event of Megalopolis, organized by Francis Ford Coppola for friends and colleagues and above all buyers and distributors, we finally know the plot of the mysterious new film with Adam Driver.

On the pages of Deadlinewho was present at the event, we read: “Coppola’s new film is full of ideas that blend the past with the future, resulting in an epic, highly visual tale that plays perfectly on an IMAX screen. The film covers complex themes in two hours and 13 minutes that feel remarkably short, not including the credits. The destruction of a metropolis similar to New York after a catastrophic accident brings conflicting visions of the future: on one side there is the ambitious idealistic architect Caesar (Adam Driver)on the other there is his sworn enemy, the mayor of the city Frank Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito). The film focuses on the different visions of these two characters, the first wants to embrace the future and build a utopia with renewable materials, the other wants to adopt a traditional reconstruction strategy, which would however open up to corruption and power intermediation. Among them is the mayor’s unruly daughter Julia (Nathalie Emmanuel)a restless young woman who grew up around power and now tries to give meaning to her life.”

Laurence Fishburne is the narrator of the story, described as a vague retelling of Romeo and Juliet: at the center of the plot there will in fact be the love story between Cesare and Julia, and the clash between their two families. Aubrey Plaza plays a rival love interest of Julia.

For other content, check out the first photo of Megalopolis: the film doesn’t have a release date yet, but it should arrive next fall.

On The Crow (Steelbook 4K UHD Blu-ray) It is one of today’s best sellers.
