An audio. A two-minute recording that dates back to 2009 and that – almost 40 years later – could reopen the case of Emanuela Orlandi, the young girl who disappeared from her home in the Vatican on June 22, 1983.
The existence of this recording made secretly during a conversation in a public place was already known, writes Il Giornale. The author of this recording is Alessandro Ambrosini, the founder of the investigative blog Notte Criminale. The speaker, on the other hand, remained anonymous, but it is thought that he is an old associate of Enrico De Pedis, one of the historical leaders of the Magliana gang. The man, referring to the statements of Sabrina Minardi, Renatino’s former partner, who had started talking to the Roman magistrates the previous year in relation to the Orlandi case, feels compelled to make some clarifications.

The stolen audio will be published in the coming days by the author of the recording on his blog, but IlGiornale.it was able to listen to it in preview. De Pedis’ former partner, unaware of being registered, lets himself go without restraint and, in relation to the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, points the finger at a particular person, mentioning his name and surname. The author of the recording, Alessandro Ambrosini, said he was willing to reveal the identity of the source should the judicial authority ask him to do so.
