If the beginning of the week still promises heat and sun, Starting from Tuesday, temperatures are expected to drop in Rome and its province, along with some possible showers.
According to experts, the African anticyclone will continue to protect the regions of central and southern Italy, favoring stable and sunny conditions in Lazio, with a rather hot climate and maximum temperatures of up to 34°C on Monday in the inland areas.
In Rome, in particular, maximum temperatures of 32 degrees are expected. However, starting from Monday evening, a front descending from central-northern Europe will cause a worsening in the northern provinces, with the first rains on Viterbo and Reatino, which will extend during the night to the rest of the region, with even thunderstorms in the Frosinone area.
Tuesday morning will see the front move away towards the south, allowing large clearings in our region, albeit in a context of variability. Temperatures will drop by a few degrees, with highs around 30/32°C.
On Wednesday, a new front approaching will bring some intensification of instability, with some showers that could form especially in the inland areas, especially in the afternoon hours”.
Temperatures will drop further, bringing it almost everywhere below 30°C. Possible stabilization from Thursday and especially Friday, with the anticyclone strengthening and temperatures rising.
