After serving for 23 years at the Provincial Command of Benevento, Lieutenant Special Charge Giovanni De Feo leaves Sannio to join the Campania Carabinieri Legion Command based in Naples.
Fifty-five years old, from Avellino, Lieutenant De Feo enlisted in the Carabinieri in September 1991, after having attended the two-year course of instruction and training at the Non-Commissioned Officers’ School of Velletri and Florence. For 10 years he served at the Provincial Command of Rome, first at the Rome San Paolo Station, then at the Genzano di Roma Station where he distinguished himself for important and delicate service operations during the perpetration of two armed robberies, one of which also culminated in the liberation of a hostage. (18.09.1995 and 07.08.2000).
After his experience in the capital, in 2001 he was transferred to Benevento to the Operational Section of the NOR. In the following 2006 he assumed the Command of the Radiomobile Section of the Benevento Company and finally in 2020 he moved to the Investigative Nucleus of the Operational Department.
Even during his stay in Sannio, Lieutenant De Feo distinguished himself for important service operations followed by numerous awards and commendations, the last of which was delivered on June 5th during the celebration of the 210th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Carabinieri which took place in Piazza Roma, when the non-commissioned officer received a commendation issued by the Commander of the Campania Carabinieri Legion, for having specifically participated in a complex and articulated investigative activity that allowed the dismantling of a mafia-type criminal association operating in the Sannio province and throughout the national territory.
