BARI (ITALPRESS) – Four more 118 stations in tourist areas for a safe summer. The ASL of Bari, also this year, has strengthened the Emergency-urgency Network with the activation – starting from today 1 July until 31 August – of rescue vehicles that will be operational, every day, including holidays, in Giovinazzo, Monopoli, Cassano delle Murge and Polignano a Mare. “In consideration of the increase in temperatures and the increase in tourist presence in Puglia – we read in a note -, the general management of the ASL, in agreement with the Operations Center and in synergy with Sanitaservice which has provided vehicles and personnel, intends to strengthen the presence of Emergency-urgency operators for the entire summer season in areas sensitive from the point of view of the influx of people.
This is an organizational method that was started last year and has given excellent results”. “The four ambulances – the note continues – will be in service for 12 hours, from 8 am to 8 pm, every day and will serve to better manage and respond adequately and safely to the 1,500 requests for assistance that come on average every day from the areas of Bari with a high concentration of tourists.
