“The Campania Region has communicated that, due to a fault in the DN 1000 pipeline supply system, Mugnano – Monterusciello section, from 8:30 pm the water supply to users located in the Monterusciello districts, in via Montenuovo Licola Patria (from the intersection with via Monteruscello towards Licola), Strada della Colmata and adjacent streets has been interrupted. The integrated water cycle staff is in constant contact with the Campania Region and updates on the times for restoring the water supply will follow. We apologize for the inconvenience.“, wrote the Municipality of Pozzuoli in a note.
A fault which, as reported in a further press release issued a few hours ago, is still ongoing.
The note from the mayor of Qualiano
The inconveniences are also affecting the territory of the municipality of Qualiano. This is the note released by the mayor Raffaele De Leonardis:
“We are in contact with the General Directorate for the Integrated Water Cycle of the Campania Region, for the lack of water that several citizens throughout the province of Naples, including Qualiano, have been suffering since yesterday evening. The cause is an ENEL fault that is preventing the regular operation of the Regional Lifting Plant called Mugnano Qt.110, causing drops in pressure and in some areas interruptions of the water service. After our requests, I was told that right now the necessary adjustments are being made in order to optimize the correct water distribution”.
