Video: Aprilia released a documentary about the victory in the Africa Eco Race.

This year, Aprilia debuted in the Africa Eco Race and in one of the most challenging off-road races in the world demonstrated the robustness and speed of its Tuareg with a dominant performance and victory for Jacopo Cerutti.


Now, the Noale manufacturer has released an official documentary about this performance: “Aprilia Tuareg Queen of Africa”. The premiere took place on June 8th during the Aprilia All Stars, and has now been published online on the brand’s official channels.

It’s 20 minutes of images from the 2024 Africa Eco Race, including interviews with drivers Cerutti and Francesco Montanari, as well as GCorse brothers Vittoriano and Gianfranco Guareschi.


From the preparations to the legendary conclusion on the shores of Lake Rosa, passing through the victories in the first two stages, “Aprilia Tuareg Queen of Africa” ​​retraces Aprilia’s key moments towards the Africa Eco Race title in 12 days in some of the most challenging deserts of the world.

Aprilia competed in the Africa Eco Race with the Tuareg, the manufacturer’s off-road model par excellence since 1985. With an announced price of 12,199 euros, the Tuareg 660 has a 660 cubic centimeter twin-cylinder engine and 80 HP, tube frame steel, 43 mm fork and progressive monoshock. It weighs only 187 kg, with an 18 liter capacity tank.
