Feast of Our Lady of Paradise, patron saint of the Diocese and co-patron saint of Mazara del Vallo, from Sunday 7 July to Sunday 28 July in Mazara del Vallo. Here is the program in detail. Sunday 7: 6pm, Madonna del Paradiso Sanctuary, Eucharistic celebration and rite of the descent of the miraculous effigy. Wednesday 10: 7pm, Madonna del Paradiso Sanctuary, Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Bishop and procession towards the Cathedral.
Sunday 14th: 7pm, Cathedral, Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Bishop and procession towards the parish of San Pietro. Tuesday 16th: 8pm, arrival of the image of the Madonna at the chapel of the “Abele Ajello” hospital. Thursday 18th: 7pm, arrival of the image of the Madonna at the Santa Rosalia parish. Saturday 20th: 7pm, arrival of the image of the Madonna at the San Michele church; 8.30 pm, arrival of the image at the Cathedral. Sunday 21st: 7pm, Cathedral, holy mass and procession of the image of the Madonna towards the Sanctuary. From Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th July: week of thanksgiving for the protection that the Madonna del Paradiso, Queen of Peace, gives to the city of Mazara del Vallo. Every day (from 22 to 28 July), 8.30 am and 6.30 pm, holy masses presided over by the priests of the Diocese.
