TARANTO – The fifth edition of the festival will also touch on songwriting, blues and country Taranto Jazz Festivalon stage from 18 to 21 July in the arena of Villa Peripato. Chiara Civello, Tosca, Morgan and Joe Bastianich the protagonists of one of the reference festivals of the Taranto musical summer.
We start on Thursday 18 July with Chiara Civello, a Roman multi-instrumentalist on tour exactly ten years after the release of Canzoni (Sony Music), a jazz tribute from Sergio Endrigo to Umberto Bindi, from Pino Donaggio to Paolo Conte, Vinicio Capossela and Vasco Rossi.
Friday 19 July returns, after the first edition of the festival, this time in a sextet, Tosca, with La Bella Estate. This is the name of the tour that celebrates his thirty-year career. Marco Castoldi, aka Morgan, arrives at the Taranto jazz festival on Saturday 20 July, in concert alone at the piano, who will pay homage to the great Italian singer-songwriters, as well as lots of classical music and pieces composed by him such as his latest j’accuse Rutti .
Closing on Sunday 21st July, Joe Bastianichknown for the show Masterchef but at the same time an eclectic musician who, together with the Neapolitan band La Terza Classe, created a project that ranges from rock, blues, soul and American folk.
