The Brescia summer is preparing for a month of cultural and artistic events that will liven up Market Square from June 28th to July 31st. The “Brescia d’Estate” program will offer a wide range of activities including music, theatre, art and guided tours, involving numerous city realities.
Music: Protagonist of the Summer
The summer season will start on June 28th with the final event of the event Both jazzcurated by the Academy of Fine Arts Laba. Concerts of the festivals will follow Jazz on the Road, Jazz Team Brescia, Claps – Circuito Glocal Sound, San Rocco in Music Bagolino ed Ethno-Traces in Franciacorta. These events will offer a diverse musical panorama ranging from jazz to ethno-folk.
Theater: Shows and Dramas
The theater will have a central role in the summer schedule with shows offered by Theater 19 (Mutazioni 2024), the Minima Teatro theater school, Chiara Becchimanzi and Laura Formenti. An important novelty will be the collaboration between Fandango, A Sud and Teatro Aquilante for the show dedicated to the environmental disaster of Seveso.
Literary Anniversaries
Among the cultural initiatives, the literary anniversaries organized by stand out Vibrant Skieswhich will celebrate figures such as Puccini, Byron and Saint-Exupéry through innovative theatrical performances.
Guided Tours: Discover Brescia
Guided tours are an essential part of the summer program. This year they will be characterized by unconventional itineraries to discover the historical secrets of the city. The associations involved include Arte con noi, BidiBrescia, Bresciastory, Guida Artistica, Oltre il Tondino, Discoverbrescia, Speleologia Bresciana and Brescia Underground.

In case of rain, all events scheduled in Piazza Mercato will be held at the San Barnaba Auditorium (C.so Magenta 44).
Guided walks will be scheduled until September 12th with thematic itineraries that will explore various aspects of the historic and modern city.
