It is clear that many people’s holidays are over. For many, like director Carli and scouting officer Innocenti, it can be said that they haven’t even started. This is the busiest time for them and it is difficult to think of anything other than transfer negotiations.

Today’s group included three young players from Cantera on loan last season and a “big shot” who, for many reasons, is at the center of the thoughts of the Giallorossi technical staff. The three youngsters are Angelo Veltri and Antonio Prisco, both born in 2004, both on loan last season to Recanatese in Serie C. Two interesting profiles, the first a central defender, the second a midfielder, who can come in handy in a grueling season like that of C. The other very young is the goalkeeper Manuel Esposito, born in 2005, fresh from the Italian amateur title won with Campobasso, in whose ranks he practically made it big by playing all 34 Serie D matches and 5 of the shield poule. He too, who has already made some benches with the Giallorossi team in the Cannavaro era, is one of those very interesting profiles that gives hope for a future of great prospects. Campobasso would like to renew the loan and make him play as a starter in Serie C. The last visits of the day are dedicated to Alin Tosca, the Romanian defender who Benevento had brought back in January 2023 to shore up the defense, but who then had to lend to the Arabs of Al Ryiadh to get rid of a contract that was too onerous for a Serie C championship. In the Arab team everything went smoothly for the first 3 months (11 out of 12 games), then the Romanian slipped to the bench and from mid February he was no longer called up.
The medical visits will continue tomorrow, then from 8 to 14 July there will be a series of personalized training sessions, in which a good portion of those players leaving for the training camp in Rome should take part.
