CALABRIA – The 29th June 2024 was heldOrdinary Assembly of Federmanager Calabriathe trade union association that represents, supports and sustains the managers, executives, CEOs and professionals of companies that produce goods and services in Calabria.
“Federmanager Calabria – the note reads – is part of a national network that has 180,000 members, 55 territorial offices and a consolidated presence since 1945. The Assembly saw a large participation of managers from all over the region. During the event, Luigi Severini was unanimously elected as President of Federmanager Calabria. Severini is recognized by all members as the natural representative of the cultural values and managerial skills that the management category will have to express in the coming years. The Assembly also elected 7 Councilors: Mario Alvaro (Vice president), Giampiero Costantini, Francesco Cusimano, Francesca Maria Marino, Holy Marazzita, Sabrina Mileto e Anthony Maria Mirante. 4 Auditors were also elected: Paolo Archinà (President), Walter Vesperi, Francis Reda e Luigi Celano. The following have been appointed as permanent guests of the Council: Francesco De Marco (Pensioners Group Coordinator); Sabrina Mileto (Minerva Donna Group Coordinator); Roberto Lomoio (Youth Group Coordinator). Finally, he was unanimously appointed Secretary of the association Luca Rosario Provenzano.
President Severini, addressing the Assembly, declared: «It is with great gratitude that I welcome the confirmation of this important role. I sincerely thank all the members for the esteem and trust they have shown in me. My commitment will be aimed at putting managerial culture, based on merit, at the center and enhancing it especially among the young people of our Calabria. During today’s public meeting, which saw a rich participation, we discussed the importance of skills in new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and how the digital revolution can represent an extraordinary opportunity for our region. It is essential to find effective strategies to convince young people to invest in Calabria and believe in meritocracy, thus counteracting brain drain. As a manager, I am proud of the social, cultural and economic contribution that our action has always offered to the institutions. This commitment deserves to be recognized and valued today. During my mandate, I will dedicate myself with determination to promoting social cohesion and bringing together the best skills. I also congratulate all my elected colleagues, with whom I am sure that we will collaborate with enthusiasm and professionalism to achieve our common objectives.”
