The accident
Another road accident this morning involving motorcycles and cars in the Mandurian territory, on the coastal road of San Pietro in Bevagna precisely The centaur, a 50-year-old from Manduro was transferred in red code to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto for a chest trauma. The driver of the car, a seventy-year-old from Taranto, was unharmed. For reasons currently being investigated, the two vehicles came into contact at the height of the bridge over the Chidro river.
The local police officers present on site will also be responsible for reconstructing the dynamics and responsibilities, also to regulate traffic on that stretch of coast road which is very crowded for the day of celebration.
The Mandurian coast has often been the scene of accidents, even serious ones. For this reason, just a few days ago the Democratic Party of Manduria had issued a press release to ask for greater commitment from local and provincial authorities to make these roads safer.
