TERNI – In the apartment rented by his mother in the center, a stone’s throw from Via Battisti, he grew cannabis plants together with his cousin.
The house where the drug was cultivated with great care, according to reports from the condominium owners, was a destination for young people who went to buy the fix.
The drug dealing activity of the two twenty-year-old South American cousins long-time residents of the city, was stopped by the police with the complaint of the young pushers. Investigated for production of narcotics, with investigators now working to try to reconstruct the drug dealing ring that was set up.
The reason why the Terni police officers turned their attention to that apartment, where there was an unusual coming and going at all hours of the day and night, was the administrator of the condominium to whom the residents had turned.
The agents of Terni police headquarters, the crime prevention department and a canine unit from Nettuno, they have carried out a targeted service which in recent days has allowed them to comb through parks, gardens and apartments, cars and people in the streets of the centre and outskirts, as required by the commissioner, Luigi Mangino.
Among the places targeted was also the house in the centre, where yet another operation to combat the detention and dealing of drugs took place on Wednesday.
The moment the police opened the door, the German Shepherd Odina immediately showed the unmistakable signs of the presence of narcotics.
There were four in the bedroom plastic pots with a cannabis plant inside each: three plants eighty metres high without inflorescences and one thirty metres high with inflorescences.
The search at that point was extended to all the rooms and allowed the recovery, inside a wardrobe, of 95 single-dose sachets with the “Grow Shop Doctor Green” logo, ugenerally used to package light cannabis, and two precision scales to prepare individual doses.
The two South American twenty-year-olds, both with no criminal record, according to what has been reconstructed, they lived in that house which had been rented by a woman who turned out to be the mother of one and the aunt of the other, who was not present in the house at the time of the raid. The two were taken to the police station and after the ritual checks they were reported for production of narcotics.
