Tomorrow, game 1 at 11 and the next match thirty minutes after the conclusion of the previous match, the Nettuno City women will host Collecchio Softball at the “Pineschi” stadium in Anzio (where pitcher Federica Forlani plays, fresh from her call-up to the U18 National Team) in the second round of the return leg of Group B of the A2 Softball Championship. The girls from Nettuno, led by manager Massimiliano De Cesaris, will need the support of their fans to turn around a season that, at the moment, sees them last in the group (1 win and 9 losses so far) and forced, if they remain bottom of the table, to face the play-outs in September against the sixth-placed team in Group A to stay in A2. The technical staff of the Tirreniche will try to recover some athletes who are out due to minor injuries, hoping to have a complete roster, something that has never happened in this first part of the tournament. Among the elements of the squad there will be Chiara Ruberto, returning after her study experience in the United States. In the meantime, after the commitment in the Regions Tournament, a new experience with the Lazio selection for the very young Giulia Caprini, Martina Caiazzo and Anna Giulia Mancini (in the role of coach) in the important “Giancarlo Bianchi” tournament in Saronno.
