Zucchero returns to Sicily, all set for the show in Messina

MESSINA – Zucchero “Sugar” Fornaciari returns to Sicily with all his energy and his extraordinary band with “Overdose D’Amore World Tour”, international tour of the famous Emilian artist who debuted last March at the Royal Albert Hall in London with 3 very successful dates.






On Sunday 30 June the Franco Scoglio Stadium in Messina will host the only date in Southern Italy in which Zucchero will give the public great music and strong emotions, retracing his incredible career and performing his greatest hits.

The event is organized by Puntoeacapo (with the artistic direction of Nuccio La Ferlita), Friends & Partners and in collaboration with the Municipality of Messina, led by Mayor Federico Basile.

The show will be a big party in which Zucchero’s contagious energy and his songs are the protagonists. A unique opportunity to attend a show full of surprises and live music with his extraordinary band.

In the meantime it’s out on the radio and digitally “Overdose D’Amore 2024” (EMI / Universal Music Italia – Columbia / Sony Music Italy), the version of Salmo of the famous song by Zucchero “Sugar” Fornaciari.

“Overdose D’Amore 2024” is the result of the consolidated relationship between the two artists in recent years, characterized by a deep mutual esteema. The original idea of ​​reimagining the famous song “Overdose (D’Amore)”, which this year celebrates 35 years since its publication, It was born from Salmo and immediately captured Zucchero’s attention and enthusiasm.

The music video was shot entirely vertically using smartphones. The images, taken in Morocco, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Shanghai, Posada (Nuoro) and other Italian locations, create a visual mosaic that brings fans from every corner of the world to the scene.
