The birth occurred during a normal routine visit to the gynecologist. Both mother and baby are in perfect health.
A normal routine check-up at her gynecologist turned into an adventure for a pregnant woman, who gave birth right in the doctor’s office well before the scheduled date: it happens at Castellammare di Stabia, in the province of Naples and, fortunately, both the woman and the baby girl she gave birth to are doing well.
The woman, as mentioned, went for a check-up visit to her gynecologist, the Dr. Miguel Sosawhich the doctor manages together with his daughters Loredana (also a gynecologist) and Laura (biologist) in Apulia Avenue. “I warned her that the birth was only a few hours away and invited her to go home to prepare for her admission to the clinic,” the doctor said. And in fact, just a few minutes after leaving the office, the woman returned: it was immediately clear to Dr. Sosa that the woman was about to give birth.
In order not to waste time, the room usually used for assisted fertilization was prepared, where the woman gave birth to her baby girl in a few minutes. Immediately after giving birth, mother and daughter were then welcomed into a clinic in Pompeii, where they underwent all the necessary checks: both are fine.

“After 40 years of work and many children born in my hands, this is a special birth that moved me, in an environment where we were able to provide her with perfect care. For us it was an honor to host the birth of a new life in our center” said Dr. Sosa again.
