The 18-month-old child hospitalized in very serious conditions at the Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia died last night, after falling yesterday from the fourth floor of a condominium on the outskirts of the city. The little boy was taken to the operating room for a desperate operation, but there was nothing that could be done.
From what we have learned it seems to have been an accident. The child fell from the balcony of one of two twin buildings. He fell in the internal courtyard and was immediately rescued and rushed to hospital, before being transferred to the intensive care unit.
