The inauguration of the exhibition, which will be held at the headquarters of the Order of Architects of Varese, will take place on Wednesday 3 July at 5pm

The Order of PPC Architects of the Province of Varese inaugurates the exhibition “Factories and Memory: From Olona to Adda, the Textile Industry Changes the Landscape“.

The event will take place Wednesday 3 July at the headquarters of the Order in Via Gradisca 4 a Vareseat 5pm. Open to all interested parties, the inauguration will also guarantee professionals a professional training credit.

The exhibition, curated by Renata Castelli, Antonella Checchi, Grace Clementi e Luisa Pagani, explores the history and industrial archeology of the textile sector, highlighting how this transformed the landscape of the valleys between the Olona and the Adda. Thanks to the technical and historical evidence of work in the Legnano area, visitors will have the opportunity to understand the impact that the textile industry has had on the environment and the territory.

The exhibition will be open to the public from July 4th to September 20thfrom Monday to Friday, from 9 to 14. It will be closed only from 12 to 16 August.
