From June 2023 to June 2024, the Tuscany Regional Communications Committee trained one thousand Tuscan middle school students with the “Digital License”, met the territories in the “Corecom Tour”. Then the prizes for best social communication and journalism
President Marco Meacci presented the balance sheet of the last year of activity and commitment to the community of Corecom Tuscany.
Together with him at Palazzo del Pegaso the president of Regional Council of Tuscany Antonio Mazzeo and the president of the Culture Commission Cristina Giachi.
From June 2023 to June 2024 the Tuscany Regional Communications Committee assisted users in resolving the telephone disputes allowing for refunds 820 thousand euros to citizens and businesses. 4,475 conciliation requests were presented, 4,478 were closed, with over 83% of agreements reached. With over 90% of reactivations of the interrupted line.
With the “Corecom Tour” from October 18, 2023 to April 3, 2024 the Committee traveled to the 10 Tuscan provinces to make known all the services and projects for the community.
With the Digital License he trained in Tuscan middle schools almost a thousand students from 25 classes on the skills needed to navigate the internet and social media with awareness.
The first was held in Florence on 4 December 2023 License Day. The project chosen by Communications Regulatory Authority as a “best practice” at a national level it will extend to Italy and Europe. It is created in collaboration with the Tuscany Region, the Istituto degli Innocenti, the Postal Police and the Regional School Office.
The prizes for good communication: “Tuscany In Spot”, “Tuscany that does well” with Cesvot dedicated to the best social communication and the award for best degree thesis in communication in Tuscany. The prize “Tuscan Communicator of the Year”.
There supervision of equal conditions during the electoral campaign for the administrative and European elections of 8 and 9 June 2024, with the involvement of 17 television broadcasters, 9 radio broadcasters and 78 political entities regarding the broadcasting of free self-managed messages.
The new calls for “Tuscany in commercial 2024” and “Tuscany that does well” will soon be announced. Then the national seminar on telephone disputes with Agcom; in autumn the start of “Conciliaweb tour”. The second edition of “Patentino Day” will be held in December.
In 2025 the presentation of the survey entrusted to IRPET on information operators in Tuscany and General states of information in Tuscany.
