The Samarkand APS Associationchaired by Professor Manuelita Iacopetta, presents “Art in your hands”, third edition of the exhibition event for the valorization of Calabrian artistic craftsmanship.

The event will be held on 13 and 14 July 2024, in the green spaces ofThe Ancient Fairy Mill in the woods where history and mystery have mixed for centuries, at the foot of the Norman-Swabian Castle of Nicastro.

We remember that the Antico Mulino delle Fate received the prestigious first international prize “The Factory in the Landscape” promoted by FICLU for theUNESCO.

All thanks also to the collaboration with the cultural association Amici dell’Antico Mulino delle Fate, chaired by the engineers Anna Filardo and Fabio Aiello.

The event aims to be an opportunity to celebrate the inspiration and creativity of many Calabrian artists who have always represented excellence in the production and craftsmanship of true works of art, unique and original artefacts which also have great value cultural, aesthetic and anthropological as well as historical.

The taste for beauty unites and interpenetrates with the creative value in many sectors that the market exhibition wants to bring back into vogue in the awareness that Calabria has always expressed and continues to express a true richness, still not fully known and adequately considered by the Calabrians themselves .

During the two days of the event there will be live performances by the artisans present, as well as the exhibition of their works.
