Serial Robber Arrested in Gallarate: Details of the Carabinieri Operation and the Assault on the Pharmacy.
On June 6, a pharmacy in Gallarate was the scene of a violent assault, during which an individual armed with a knife threatened the staff and stole the daily takings of €450.
Thanks to the prompt response of the Carabinieri of the Gallarate Company’s Operational and Radiomobile Unit, the accident was quickly contained.
The Criminal’s Identikit.
The person responsible was identified as a 39-year-old with a criminal record, resident in the Gallarate area. Notoriously known for similar crimes, the criminal followed a precise and well-planned modus operandi.

Before entering the pharmacy, the robber stole improvised weapons, such as scissors and a box cutter, from a nearby home improvement store. This allowed him to intimidate pharmacy staff during the theft.

After committing the robbery, the criminal attempted to escape, intercepting a van that was temporarily left unattended. During the escape, he was trapped by the owner of the vehicle, with whom he engaged in a scuffle before fleeing on foot.
The End of the Criminal
Thanks to the Carabinieri’s investigations, the suspect was located and arrested that same evening. He is currently detained in the Busto Arsizio prison awaiting his interrogation.
