The Brescia singer-songwriter Albe: «I’m thinking about Sanremo, we’ll see»

He arrives running, after being stuck in Milanese traffic, with the required dark glasses, but above all with a big smile. Albe, aka Alberto La Malfathe singer-songwriter from Brescia who participated in the talent show Amici in 2022, was this morning in the Radio Bresciasette studios at Maddalena Damini’s Magazine: «I believe I have reached a good artistic and personal maturity – he says -, I went through my journey on Amici, I did it as an inexperienced person, I was very young, but I would do it again immediately. Especially because I did the auditions so I wouldn’t have to study for university exams.”

Funny, self-deprecating, ready with a joke, but also very aware of having been a challenging son: “At first my parents didn’t take it very well – says Albe – but who can blame them. I started things without finishing them, I changed my ideas, they were fed up. This went well and they became my first supporters».
An album in preparation, summer concerts, an autumn tour and the single «Quando ci siamo utilizzati» (Warner Music) recently released: «I’m not a particularly anxious person and when I am I don’t show it – explains the singer from Brescia – . At the beginning when I went on stage I felt nauseous, my brain is connected to my stomach. I calmed myself down by telling myself that I just had to sing».
Many projects, new ideas and many things to tell: «The only fear I have – he concludes – and which I think often affects many singers is that they no longer like what we propose. I’m thinking about Sanremo, we’ll see».
