The highest city council is made up of 24 members. Fifteen seats go to the majority. There are seven seats attributable to the candidate Petitto, while two are linked to the outgoing Gambino

Proclamation by the mayor of Caltanissetta, Walter Tesauro, and the city councilors, yesterday at seat number 1 of the San Giusto school in the capital of Caltanissetta. The 24 members of the council plenum will take the oath – at the headquarters of the highest civic assembly – on Wednesday 10 July, in the afternoon (at 6 pm).
The municipal councilors are Giovanna Candura (her list did not exceed the 5% threshold), Calogero Adornetto and Guido Delpopolo (both from Forza Italia), Gianluca Bruzzaniti and Toti Petrantoni (FdI), Oscar Aiello (Lega – the list did not exceeded 5%), Gero Valenza, Saverio Romano and Angelo Fasulo. The swearing-in of the councilors will take place by 5 July.

The centre-right majority has 15 city councilors out of 24. Here’s the detail. Five belong to Forza Italia, four to Fratelli d’Italia, three to Noi Moderati, three to the Lista Azzurri for Caltanissetta.
Annalisa Petitto enters the City Council by right, two seats are assigned to Futura and Democratica (Armando Turturici and Carlo Vagginelli), one seat goes to “CL tutta la Vita” (Felice Dierna), one to Orgoglio Nisseno (Luigi Bellavia), one to Insieme (Calogero Palermo) and one to “Fare centro con Totò Licata” (Vincenzo Cancelleri).
The other two seats go to the outgoing mayor Roberto Gambino and Federica Scalia (M5S).
