ACAYA (LE) – Mechanics and construction are the two best performing sectors in Puglia in relation to the percentage of companies with a positive ROE index, of 94.5 and 93.3 percent respectively, compared to the regional average of 87.9%. As regards turnover, the province of Bari confirms itself as a leader in absolute values ​​with 44.6 billion euros but also in terms of growth with +23.8%; the employee delta, however, sees the province of Lecce surpassing the regional capital by only 0.1% with +8.7%.

As regards tourism, the province of Brindisi exceeds that of Bari in absolute values, 219 million against 188, with a particular concentration of revenues in the Savelletri hub despite the fact that the appeal lacks an important company which has its registered office elsewhere and therefore does not included in the count. In fashion, however, the provinces of Bat and Lecce stand out with a turnover of 760 and 612 million euros respectively, thanks to two districts that are establishing themselves above all in the field of quality footwear: accident prevention and large luxury brands.
