The finalist novels of the third edition of the Literary Prize have been revealed “Dolores Prato – City of Treia”: this year there will be six (and not five) books competing, given the tie recorded during the selection phase. The titles are: “Stay with me, sister” by Emanuela Canepa – Giulio Einaudi editor; “Epigenetics” by Cristina Battocletti – The ship of Theseus; “Private Chronicles” by Valentina Parasecolo –Marsilio E; “In the house next door” by Angela Giannitrapani – Progedit; “Pins” by Greta Olivo – Giulio Einaudi editor; “The Garbatella girl” by Laura Eduati – Accent editions. The day dedicated to the awards ceremony will be Sunday 8th September at the municipal theatre, as part of the Pratian celebrations organized by the municipality. The prize, we remember, is characterized precisely by its feminine declination, putting the spotlight on women’s writing.
Designed by the municipal administration of Treia, in collaboration with the journalist Lucrezia Sarnari, Works of Italian fiction produced by women writers and published were able to compete for the Literary Award for the first time in period a in paper volume in the period 1 April 2023 – 26 February 2024 and regularly on the market.
