Event promoted by Momart Gallery on June 29th
On June 29th at 6.30pm, in Piazza Madonna dell’Idris in Matera, “Chiacchiere di Vicinato” and the finissage of the Habitat exhibition will be held, with the participation of numerous exponents of the world of contemporary art.
Everything is ready for “Chiacchiere di Vicinato” and the finissage of the Habitat exhibition, curated by Simona Spinella, promoted by Momart Gallery. The event will be held on June 29th at 6.30 pm in the suggestive Piazza Madonna dell’Idris in Matera.
Monica Palumbo, gallerist and Artistic Director of Momart Gallery, underlined that it will be a special opportunity to discuss and discuss issues inherent to the world of contemporary art. The convivial atmosphere, similar to that of the chats in the neighborhoods of the Sassi of Matera, will be the setting for this talk. Among the participants there will be: Tiziana D’Oppido, Councilor for Culture of Matera, Raffaele De Ruggieri, President of the Zétema Foundation, Leo Montemurro, President of CNA Matera, Simona Spinella, Independent curator and President of Synchronos, Rocco Franciosa, Regional President of the Pro Loco Basilicata Aps , Patrizia Minardi, founding President of the Soroptimist Matera Club, Alessia Pietropinto, Editorial Manager of Milano ESPOARTE and Independent Curator, and the artist Mimmo Centonze.
“During this meeting – added Palumbo – various themes will be addressed regarding the art system, the role of the collector today and the relationships that exist between the protagonists of the art world. We will also talk about the figure and value of the contemporary artist and the relationships of the latter with museums, galleries and independent research spaces. It will be an opportunity to discuss issues related to market dynamics and its recent evolution.”
Following this, there will be a guided tour of the Habitat exhibition. The meeting is open to everyone, from artists to architects, from art history professors to art critics and curators, collectors and enthusiasts. “It will be an opportunity to more closely explore the various dynamics that drive artistic promotion,” concludes Palumbo.
