Ethics Committee: Verì, fundamental role in quality scientific research

(Regflash) L’Aquila, 26 down. “Our goal remains to ensure that each research is conducted with the utmost respect for the participants and with rigorous attention to ethical and methodological aspects. We will continue to strongly support the work of the Ethics Committee, aware of the crucial role it plays in promoting ethical and quality scientific research.”
This is what the regional health councilor Nicoletta Verì declared on the sidelines of the conference promoted by the scientific secretariat of the Territorial Ethics Committee of the Abruzzo Region (CetRA) and by the epidemiology team of the University of L’Aquila of which the prof is the representative. Marco Valenti, methodological member of CEtRA.
“It is with great satisfaction – added the councilor – that today we celebrate the first anniversary of the establishment of the Ethics Committee of the Abruzzo Region. This year, the Committee has worked to ensure that each study and research project meets the highest ethical and regulatory standards, while offering a public guarantee of this protection. This is why this event represents an important opportunity for discussion and updating.
The presence of illustrious speakers further enriched the debate, underlining the importance of our commitment to the protection and promotion of personal values. I want to thank the scientific secretariat and the epidemiology team of the University of L’Aquila for the organization. Their dedication and expertise are essential to the advancement of health research in our region.
I believe it is important that Abruzzo – concluded Verì – has a precious body for the correct functioning of scientific and healthcare activities, drawing on the best professionals with documented competence and experience in this delicate area”. (Regflash) K. Scolta 240626
