A day of fits and starts for the “Errebi Mobility” team padel championship: bad weather has in fact forced four teams in the men’s category to postpone the matches scheduled for Friday 21 June at the Waya Padel fields. The Mixed championship began the sixth week of play on Monday 17th at the Asti Padel with the return match between DB Padel and Chiquita Team won 3-0 by the latter who took advantage of the postponement of the big match Giovani Dentro- Beverly Hills 14100 (will be played on Thursday 27th) to momentarily take the lead in the standings by 11 points.
Tuesday 18th, again at Asti Padel, it was the turn of the Men’s championship with Abdominal and Asti Padel winning 3-0 against Jolly Ludic and Icecebois respectively. On the same evening, the advance between Arena Padel Team and Unthinkables was much more competitive, won by Maverik Alafleur’s boys 2-1, after the Waya Padel team had prevailed in the tie-break in the first set.
On Thursday 20th at the Valenzani Padel club the Bertolino-Serra couple of Dama Work Solution practically do nothing wrong and annihilate FTP Soc. Coop. in almost all of his combinations but without the big man Montalbano, perhaps also paying for the home court factor for a result (6-0/6-1/6-0) perhaps too excessive for the Pellitteri brothers’ team.
The day ends with the preview of the seventh day of the Mixed match between DB Padel and Crumpets: Rabellino-Vololo are unable to bring home even a point against the tested pair Porcellana-Rogina who with this 3-0 further detaches their opponents, still stuck at fifth place with 2 points, and they are tied on points in the standings (7) with Giovani Dentro, currently third but with a match still to recover, against Beverly Hills which is currently 9 points in second place.
In the Men’s Asti Padel takes advantage of the postponements to move into first place with 16 points, thus overtaking the A-Team (15) who are also approached by Arena Padel Team (13) and Dama Work Solution (11). Followed by Cisterna Padel Club (10) and Format srl (8), waiting to recover their match, followed by Abdominal (8) and I Puntazos (7), also with a match still to recover. In the lower parts of the ranking we find FTP Soc. Coop. at 5 points followed by the trio of Unthinkables-Icecebois-Jolly Ludic at 3 points.
