“I send my most sincere wishes to the new Mayor of the City of Aversa Francesco Matacena. Person who put all of himself to reach this goal. I wish him and his team an excellent job, because the good of the city comes before the political parties. But above all I wish him to reduce the sense of distancing that the city, by abstaining for 2/3 from the vote, has shown towards the institutions”. This is how former councilor Pasquale Fiorenzano comments on the victory of mayor Francesco Matacena.
With a scathing post, however, Fiorenzano, who chose not to run, continued: “I am happy that his victory also served to change the mind of someone who only a year ago wrote this about his new colleagues”. The reference is to the new councilor of the Italia Aversa list Massimo Virgilio who less than a year ago, several times, invaded social media with posts containing invectives on Francesco Sagliocco, Federica Turco, Giovanni Innocenti and Olga Diana and in general on the component that heads to the regional councilor Giovanni Zannini.
Thus Fiorenzano, re-proposing Virgil’s posts, once again highlighted the contradictions of the Matacena coalition. It will be a difficult task for the new mayor and president of the order of accountants (by the way, the new mayor would have declared to his collaborators that he does not want to resign as president of the order of North Naples) to keep together people from the center-right and the center-left with ideas , programs and visions that are totally opposite to each other.
