CASERTA AND GRAZZANISE IN MOURNING

16:31:48 CASERTA. The entrepreneur Raffaele Lazzaro Pucino – originally from Grazzanise, but resident in the provincial capital for many years and grandfather of two nephews of the same name who were well established in the world of football – passed away long-lived after an existence entirely dedicated to work.

The sad news was given by her children Stefano, Saveria, Maria, Giovanni, Francesco, Pompeo and other heartbroken family members. Many friends were present, in the church of the Good Shepherd, at the touching funeral mass celebrated by Don Fiorentino Bruno, who several times, during the liturgy, also wanted to remember his kind wife Anna Gallicola, who died previously, and his sons Antonio and Vincenzo passed away very prematurely, invoking Love for each one Mis merciful of the Good God. The body, then transferred to the Grazzanisano cemetery, was buried in the family chapel.

Thus, a well-known and esteemed figure in the Caserta professional and economic circles has left the scene, a man capable of successfully competing in various entrepreneurial and commercial activities, moreover extending his commitments in a very vast geographical radius, even beyond the regional borders. He established himself thanks to his brilliant and far-sighted intelligence, his innate creative talent, his pragmatism of action and his “nose” for undertaking new initiatives. In short, he had “done his apprenticeship” and always maintained an extraordinary balance.

Raffaele Lazzaro Pucino, only son of Stefano and Saveria Bisesto, wanted for himself and in happy agreement with Anna, the courageous woman in his life, a large family: both beaming at seeing the table set always crowded and progressively growing for engagements and weddings which followed one another over time; both constantly ready to sacrifice themselves to ensure prosperity for all.

As a young man he obtained a surveyor’s diploma, but he never limited himself to simply carrying out his professional activity: at the end of the fifties, he was the first to open a dry cleaner (L’Ala) in Grazzanise and, in order to operate with the innovative machines at full speed, he organized a clothes collection service with the van that even reached the Alifana area; furthermore he set up a construction company that carried out constructions on behalf of the VIII Department at the Grazzanise military airport; for a certain period he also carried out the functions of head of secretarial services at the state middle school of Grazzanise; at a certain point he decided to move with the whole family to Caserta, the hometown of the beloved Anna, completely converting his entrepreneurial initiative which was now predominantly family-run, which from then on was oriented towards supplies to civil, military and religious institutions.

He leaves behind a great example and profound regret, he who knew how to seriously play with life, facing its difficulties with courage, wisdom, smile, elegance, often winning and yet without losing his humility, politeness in human relationships and generous goodness of soul.
