The amendment to the regulation for the use of the Efebo theater within the botanical garden for the creation of summer events and demonstrations for 2024 has been published on the Institution’s institutional website.
With Determination of the Extraordinary Commissioner n. 64 of 20 June 2024, the modification requested by the environment, tourism and botanical garden sector was approved, providing for adequate tariffs for the use of the structure with the aim of increasing greater use of the entire area adjacent to the botanical garden.
It is necessary to better regulate, it is underlined, the relationships between third parties and the Provincial Body for the use of the Theater for shows and/or events of social, cultural and economic promotion.
The Efebo Theater will be used for the programming of entertainment events attracting tourists and the offer, including the institution’s own productions, must be aimed at tourists through Tour Operators and accommodation facilities.
The Theater may be used, at the discretion of the Administration, for events organized by third parties for the purposes of entertainment, conferences, economic or commercial promotion, also providing for the placement of stands in the access square to the Theatre.
The use of the theater space, therefore, whether free or set up, will have a daily rate of 500 euros while if the space is used for several days the rate will drop to 350 euros.
The use of the access square for the placement of stands will be €150 regardless of the days of use.
If the third-party organizer is a public body, the President of the Province may apply a reduction in tariffs, even a total one.
Lastly, all individuals who will use the facility will have to sign an agreement with the Office to establish insurance obligations, rules of use and any penalties.
