Yesterday, the group met in the Municipality’s Representative Room for official thanks.
FASANO – The Patronal Festival officially ended and yesterday, the president of the Festival Committee, Giuseppe Ancona, met all the collaborators for an informal thank you in the Representative Hall of the Municipality of Fasano, in the presence of the mayor of Fasano, Francesco Zaccaria, and of the prior, Don Sandro Ramirez.
During his speech, President Ancona underlined the importance of teamwork, declaring: «I am only the image of this great group. Thanks to you it is possible to make progress and improvements every year.”
The event was particularly appreciated throughout the surrounding area, receiving positive acclaim. Mayor Zaccaria expressed his gratitude with heartfelt words: «It was a nice ride. Thanks to all those who spend their free time for the celebration, I convey my thanks on behalf of all the citizens.”
President Ancona also recalled that the G7, held in the days preceding the party, allowed this year’s theme to be assigned: “Fasano, Land of Peace, Center of the World”. This theme guided the celebrations, making them even more significant and participatory.
After the greeting from the prior Don Sandro Ramirez, all the collaborators were given a souvenir of the 2024 edition: a valuable artefact in olive wood with the engraving of the rose window of the Mother Church, symbol of the tradition and community of Fasano.
The thanksgiving ceremony thus concluded a great work that united the entire community.
