The overture de la Terrasse, the dinner on the terrace of the Grand Hotel in Rimini, will be staged on Tuesday 25 June. This event inaugurates the evening dress evenings of summer 2024 and has always been the event with which the Rimini summer opens.

“It is one of the most magical moments of the tourist season,” says Paola Batani, owner of the Batani Select Hotels group. “This year the theme could only be linked to the Tour de France, which is taking place in Italy for the first time. We want to underline once again how much Italian and international magic, beauty and charm belong to the Grand Hotel in Rimini”.

The event, created in collaboration with Stephanie Plaza, creator of the RDVS Project since 2008, sees the participation of chefs and Directeur de Salle, including: • Davy Tissot, MOF 2004, Bocuse d’OR 2021 • Jean-Philippe Merlin, Director of Sala at the famous Paul Bocuse Restaurant • Romain Barthe, Chef Patron at the Auberge de Clochemerle Vaux en Beaujolais • Lello Cabras, Lyon Chef • Christian Têtedoie, CFA de la Gastronomie Marcy l’Etoile • David Carré, French Chef • Domenico Lacedonia , Collaborator of the French team

Dishes will also include products from the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region, offered by La Bonne Europe, ensuring a wide variety of authentic and refined flavours. To make the event even more prestigious, the illustrious food journalist Odile Mattei, from Lyon People – Lyon Première, will be present.

The dress code is formal chic (long trousers and closed shoes for men).
