The Archaeological Park of Herculaneum remodels its offer with new on-demand subscriptions and opportunities to participate in the Park’s activities

From Monday 1st July 2024 the ticketing offer of the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum will change, launching new on-demand season tickets aimed at specific user targets: families, young people, individual visitors with the aim of building loyalty among its audience and offering open tickets for an entire year in order to make participation in the various initiatives simpler and more circular, to offer different ways of participating in the Park’s activities: the annual subscription – intended mainly for local residents and tourists – will be remodulated into three different types of card:

-ErcolanoCard for individuals at a cost of €30, valid for 1 person;

-ErcolanoCardFamily at a cost of 58 euros for 2 adults and accompanied minors;

-ErcolanoCardYoung at a cost of 5 euros for children between 18 and 25 years old.

All subscriptions are valid for 365 days from the first use, those subscribed previously and until June 30th will be valid until their natural expiry.

After the recent expansion of the Antiquarium exhibition area and the very recent opening of the Ancient Beach, with the return to the public of 3000 square meters of additional usable space, in step with the progressive expansion of the routes and the offer of visits to the public , from July 1st the new access tickets will be as follows:

  • full €16;
  • reduced youth between 18 and 25 years of age ticket €2;
  • access to the Ancient Theater €5;
  • integrated Park and Ancient Theater of 19 euros.

Ercolano is all year round! This is the intent with which we thought of a single ticket that allows access to the Park for 365 days – declares director Sirano – For an entire year, visitors will be able to participate in the initiatives that we propose cyclically as well as in the new features that appear from year to year in what is a showcase with a thousand facets and possibilities. Attention to the public, loyalty of enthusiasts guide us in an increasingly personalized and inclusive work”.

Meanwhile, the opening of the underground route of the Ancient Theater of the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum continues throughout the month of June; the accompanied visit for 6 groups of 10 people takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 09.30 to 16.30 (visit in English at 11.30am and 4.30pm); the tour of the Theater is a real journey through time through the eighteenth-century tunnels accompanied by Park staff. In the months of July and August there will be a summer break, to then resume in September.
