Last night Piazza Trento e Trieste was transformed into a timeless place thanks to the unique sounds of ‘Air’ – a duo composed of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel – accompanied to the rhythm by a stage built specifically for the French band it is exhibited inside a structure of approximately 12 meters made with LED walls and equipped with Moog (keyboard-based synthesizer system), Korg, drums, guitar and keyboard boing.

The show, which changed with each song, was then enriched by a strong-impact scenography and a captivating light and projection show, one of the most important displays in Europe. A high profile show that brought an adult audience to the streets – who wanted to listen and savor every moment – and who let themselves be carried away by the show and the music, returning to the emotions of past years and the TV series of the 90s.

Last night was not just a concert but a real journey through hits like ‘Kelly watch the stars!’ (homage to Kelly Garrett of Charlie’s Angels), ‘All I Need’, ‘Sexy boy’ and the other singles from which their consecration in the world of French electronics came in ’98. In addition to the full performance of ‘Moon Safari’, the concert also included a bit of ‘Talkie Walkie’ and ‘10,000 Hz Legend’, but also an excerpt from Sofia Coppola’s soundtrack ‘The Virgin Suicides’.

Next appointment this evening – Sunday 23 June – with rapper Tony Effe, Drillionaire and Anna. The Ferrara Summer Festival will resume on Wednesday 26 June with Annalisa (Piazza Trento Trieste), the artist among the 100 successful women in Italy (Forbes 2023) who with her music hits straight to the heart by lightly describing passions and feelings.
