ANCONA (ITALPRESS) – The Marche Region is proposing the new tender for the granting of incentives to support promotional-marketing and tourism deseasonalization activities.
This is a two-year measure, dedicated to supporting operators who, through targeted promotion and marketing actions, market packages with stays in the region.
It is the priority of the Region and of the President and councilor for tourism to support the marketing activity of the “Marche Destination” with the intermediation of travel agencies, in order to direct demand during periods of lower tourist influx.
In fact, as underlined, deseasonalisation, useful for guaranteeing economic continuity for operators and capable of enhancing the heritage of the hinterland and experiential tourism, is among the objectives of the tender which expressly provides for a line dedicated to encouraging, through travel agents, tourist flows in the low season months.
At the base there is therefore the desire to start a strong synergy with tourist operators who carry out incoming activities, with the awareness of the importance of the role of those who actually market the Marche tourist product in national and foreign markets.
The resources allocated to the intervention are 440,000.00 euros to be divided into the following lines of action: 1.1 – PROMO-MARKETING, aimed at granting contributions to encourage the Tour Operators of the Incoming Marche (OTIM) to carry out promotion and marketing activities of the regional tourism product; 1.2 – SEASONALIZATION, aimed at granting contributions to travel agencies and tour operators which, through intermediation activities, guarantee incoming tourist flows in the months of lower influx.
It will be possible to submit applications via the web platform specifically set up until 12.00 on 13 September 2024.
