Agriculture in the provinces of Bari -BAT has become central in the challenge of the future that is called European Ecological Transition.
This will be one of the topics that will be addressed during theannual meeting of Confagricoltura Bari-Bat convened for Monday 24 June in Bariat Villa Romanazzi.
A first session reserved for members will be dedicated to statutory obligations, followed by the second part, open to all companies and agricultural entrepreneurs, explains the President Massimiliano Del Core: “It will focus on the new course of the European ecological transition”.
“Fundamental – continues the president – swill address this issue in the presence of the highest leaders of our Confederation. They will participate at work, in fact, the National President Massimiliano Giansanti and the General director Annamaria Barrile. We will talk about how to change a wrong and unfair CAP for our companies and about the competitiveness and economic sustainability of our agriculture. We will illustrate – states Del Core – how much is agriculture worth? of our territory for the continental market and how the activity and commitment of our entrepreneurs is central to the success of the European ecological transition”.
During the work of the assembly we will also talk about Mediterraneanthe new reality that Confagricoltura at national level has constituted to give even more value to agricultural production together with Uniofoodthat is, together with the excellent agri-food companies of Italian production.
“Agricultural production, agri-food processing constitute – concludes Massimiliano Del Core – a single supply chain that must face new market challenges, both Italian and above all foreign. So The scenario will certainly be Mediterranean on which Confagricoltura and Unionfood yes they will measure together to ensure success of the Italian agri-food chain”.
