There are three municipalities in the province of Foggia called to vote for the election of new Mayors

Manfredonia, San Giovanni Rotondo, San Severo: these are the three municipalities in the Foggia area that will go to the runoff vote next Sunday and Monday to choose the new Mayors.

Only in San Giovanni Rotondo is there an outgoing mayor in the running.
Michele Crisetti, supported by the PD and other progressive forces, is competing with Filippo Barbano, supported by the Five Star Movement and a group of civic leaders, ahead in the first round with 36 percent.

Barbano is Conte’s man, who wants to win in his San Giovanni Rotondo, even in spite of a newfound possible agreement with the PD at a national level.
The centre-left has the advantage, first round in hand, both in Manfredonia and San Severo.

In the Gulf city, Domenico La Marca hopes for an agreement, albeit unofficial, from a wide field for the last hundred meters that separate him from the finish line.
Contending for the field is Ugo Galli, centre-right.

The judicial investigations opened on members of the previous administration, which also involve the former Mayor Rotice, could have their weight.

In San Severo Angelo Masucci, center left, starts ahead of Lydia Colangelo.
Despite the support of Anna Paola Giuliani, third in the first round, the center-right does not appear compact and the same sum of votes does not seem able to undermine Masucci’s pole position.
